Thompson, Thomas
Thomas Thompson, originally from England, was one of the original settlers of Farmington, Connecticut. He was one of the witnesses of the agreement between the colony of Connecticut and the Tunxis Indians (1650). He became one of the original members of the Farmington church, which congregated for the first time on Oct. 13, 1652. He died in Farmington on April 20, 1655, and was survived by his wife Anne (m. 1646) who was the daughter of Thomas Welles, governor of Connecticut, 1655-58.
