Administration of the Estate of Solomon Adams

To All People to Whom These Presents Shall Come: Greeting
 
Know you that I, Abner Curtis, of Farmington, being by the Honorable Court of Probate for the District of Farmington appointed administrator of the estate of Solomon Adams, late of Farmington, deceased, and having received orders from said Court to sell and dispose of said estate for the payments of the debts of said estate, and for the consideration of fifteen pounds lawful money received to my full satisfaction of Hezekiah Wadsworth of said town do give, grant, bargain, sell, and confirm unto him, the said Hezekiah Wadsworth, and to his heirs and assigns forever one certain piece of land in Farmington aforesaid, being a part of the Indian grant, so-called, and lying nearly west of the dwelling house of Mark Root, and butted east, west, north, and south on land of Mark Root or Captain Timothy Root, containing three quarters of an acre together with the dwelling house lately belonging to Solomon Adams aforesaid, standing and being thereon, and all other privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging, and I, the said Abner Curtis, covenant with the said Hezekiah Wadsworth that, by virtue of my aforesaid appointment, I have right to sell and dispose of the same in manner and form as is above written, and that the same is free from all encumbrances whatsoever, and, further, I, the said Abner Curtis, do by these presents bind myself, heirs, and to him, the said Wadsworth, his heirs, etc., to warrant and defend the above granted premises against all claims and demands whatsoever.
